CONGRATULATIONS
Summer 2026 Graduates
- You may now order offical transcripts.
- You have been officially graduated in the system.
- Diplomas will be mail in October.
- For questions, please email Graduation or call the Registrar's Office (301-934-7588).
Transcripts are detailed records of your academic achievements, while credentials (diplomas, certificates, and letters of recognition) are official certifications that you've completed a program of study. You can easily order transcripts or request replacement credentials online using the instructions below.

Electronic transcripts are delivered in an expedited period of time, sometimes within minutes (except during grade- and degree-posting), to any email address.
Order an official paper copy of your transcript and have it mailed.
Order an official paper copy of your transcript and pick it up on campus.
Pick-Up Locations:
Official transcripts are certified and signed by the Registrar. They can be sent directly to you or to another recipient with your authorization.
An electronic (secure, certified PDF) transcript is "official" in its electronic form as long as it is not altered. Each time the file is opened, it will be certified electronically (Internet connection required) to ensure that it has not been altered. A printed copy of a PDF transcript is not official. While electronic transcripts are widely accepted, confirm with your recipients that they will accept this format before ordering. Please save a copy of your electronic transcript because the link expires in 30 days.
A paper transcript "official" only as long as it remains in its sealed envelope. Do not open the sealed envelope if you have ordered the transcript for pick-up and are forwarding the document to another party (an institution, employer, or other person). Open the envelope only if you have ordered the transcript for personal use.
Unofficial transcripts can be downloaded through my.CSMD. These transcripts can be used for reference but cannot be used in place of an official transcript.
Credentials (diplomas, certificates, and letters of recognition) will automatically be mailed to the address listed on your graduation application. Credentials will be mailed to students as noted under Graduation Terms and Dates on the Graduation Website.
Please Note - All accounts must be current in order to receive a diploma, certificate, or letter of recognition.

You can submit your high school transcript to CSM by email to transcripts@csmd.edu. Students who have graduated high school within the last two years are required to submit official transcripts for review. Outstanding achievement in higher level math and English courses (honors, AP, etc.) may be considered to determine appropriate placement in college-level courses. Students who have graduated from a public school or from St. Mary’s Ryken High School, The Calverton School or Southern Maryland Christian Academy may have their transcript reviewed for course placement.
