NEXT STEPS

CSM wants to make it painless to get back on track—and stay on track.

Apply for Scholarships and Financial Aid

Opportunities for financial aid are plentiful and CSM awards over $300,000 a year in scholarships

Financial aid starts with FAFSA: The first step is to submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and be sure to use CSM’s federal school code (002064). File by the March 1 priority deadline for the best consideration for federal and state scholarship opportunities!

As a returning student, you may be eligible for special financial aid programs like the Maryland Community College Promise Scholarship or Maryland Near Completer Grant.

Apply to more than 200 different CSM scholarships with one application. Submit your Scholarship Finder application today!

Check out CSM’s FinancialAidTV for short, easy to digest videos on a wide range of topics, including FAFSA, scholarships, 1098-Ts and much more.

To learn about financial assistance, get more information on the FAFSA, calculate the cost of your CSM education, and much more, visit our Costs & Aid page.

Make Payment Arrangements

Arrange payment for any outstanding balance on your account by the payment due date. You can pay your balance in full or enroll in the CSM Tuition Payment Plan to pay your bill in monthly installments.

Get Oriented

Your first semesters are critical in laying a solid foundation for your student success at CSM and beyond. Hawk: Ready, Set, Go! is a three-part orientation for students to refamiliarize yourself with the college and get a strong start.

Partnership with ReUp

CSM has partnered with ReUp Education to reach out to former CSM students who have had to put their studies on pause.

The ReUp coaching team will support you through the re-enrollment process and work with you to determine what you need to be successful in your chosen degree path at no cost to you.

If you have been identified to participate in our ReUp partnership, a Success Coach will reach out to you.
