Spring Theater Auditions

The CSM Visual and Performing Arts Department will be holding auditions for a spring production of "Oddments," an original play by CSM student Sarah Slack and alumna Sydney Mitchell. Auditions will be on December 16 at 6 p.m. Auditionees should also be prepared for possible call back auditions on December 20 at 6 p.m. Women and men, ages 16-30 should be prepared to present a one to two minute monologue. Men should also prepare a ten-measure "a cappella" song excerpt.
The auditions will be held on stage at the Brad and Linda Gottfried Theater in the Fine Arts Center (FA Building) on the La Plata Campus. People unable to attend the live auditions may contact Dr. Stephen Johnson at ssjohnson2@csmd.edu to make arrangements for a recorded audition to be submitted no later than the date of the physical auditions.
Play description: "Family may be found in the strangest places. A group of young assault survivors leans on each other in their healing journeys. Little do they know, their beloved therapist, who founded and leads the group, has motives that shroud his dark past." The play will be directed by the playwrights.
