Guiding Questions

  • How can we make the exhibit fun, informative, and inspiring for visitors?
  • How can we apply sustainability and accessibility principles to our design to reduce environmental impact and increase inclusivity?
  • How can we use the outdoor space to promote innovation, the Velocity Center, CSM, and ETC to the Southern Maryland community?

Submission Requirements

  1. A detailed design proposal, including sketches, dimensions, materials, and budget.
  2. A PowerPoint or other appropriate presentation including an explanation of the target audience, objectives, tactics, materials, and budget.
  3. Compliance with the site regulations and guidelines to ensure that the exhibit does not compromise the safety, security, or integrity of ETC, the Town of Indian Head, the Velocity Center, or its visitors.
  4. Teams must submit their project title and a one paragraph summary no later than Monday, Nov. 27 to be eligible to participate in the event on Dec.1. Submissions should be emailed to jahunt2@csmd.edu.
