Blood Drive and Scavenger Hunt


The Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) Program and CSM Nursing Student Association (NSA) have teamed up with the American Red Cross to save lives in the Southern Maryland region while also learning about the healthcare team in a fun way!  The blood drive will be held in room HS 106 A/B from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday October 16, 2025.   

Activities

  • Donate blood to save up to three lives AND help the MLT students win the Cell Bowl (#CellBowl2025 National Hematology Competition)

  • Tour the Center for Health Sciences on a scavenger hunt while learning how the blood donation can help a patient with Sickle Cell.  Learn about the healthcare team's role in their care along the way.

  • Submit a completed Scavenger Hunt to enter the Prize Raffle

  • Fall Fest activities on campus through SGA
