Benny C. Morgan Concert Series: Ching-Yi Lin, piano

Born in Taiwan, pianist Ching-Yi Lin’s ascent to musical prominence was swift, marked by numerous accolades including top prizes at prestigious competitions like the Marbella International Piano Competition and the Texas State International Piano Competition.

As a Rising Star Awardee by the Howard County Arts Council, Ching-Yi Lin recital tours have enraptured listeners, and his dedication to music education shines through his roles at institutions like the Peabody Institute and Levine Music.

Ching-Yi Lin is a faculty member at Montgomery College and Levine Music. His concert in the Benny C. Morgan series is part of a regional tour celebrating the 150^th anniversary of the birth of the French composer Maurice Ravel.
