Join CSMD Librarian Emily Cranford and Associate Professor of English Caitlyn Socrates for our kickoff celebration of our Fall 2026 One Maryland One Book Read, "No Sense in Wishing" by Lawrence Burney! We'll be introducing the book and have some themed activities as book club icebreakers!

Inviting all in the CSM community! We’ll be reading a campus wide book club around the One Maryland, One Book selection "No Sense in Wishing" by Lawrence Burney. Copies are available on reserve at all three library campuses. The first 20 registrants will receive a free copy of the book (priority will be given to CSMD students)!
