Jay AcevedoThis week, hear from CSM grad Jay Acevedo ’22:

"I have loved my experiences with CSM. The staff has always been great towards me, especially helping me adjust during my first semester as a college student, and the services offered at the college are just incredible. I will never forget how great the people at CSM are, and the college has left a great impact on me that will always be remembered."

STUDENT RESOURCES

CSM COLLEGE SURVIVAL GUIDE

The College Survival Guide is a recurring feature that directs members of the CSM community to free resources and support for whatever challenges they may be facing. At CSM, no hawk has to fly alone.

NOT SURE WHAT CLASSES TO TAKE? CSM’s Fall 2022 Sessions start next week, and there’s still time to meet with an academic advisor to get the most out of Student Planning and make choosing your classes easier. Please note, advising services are in high demand during the month of August! We strongly encourage you to call into the virtual queue to be assisted via phone call or Zoom.

Whether you’re looking for an on- or off-campus job, a paid internship, or a potential career path, College Central Network (formerly Job Connection) is the go-to career posting site for CSM students and alumni.

You can upload your current resume or use College Central Network’s template to create a resume and begin the search for the position that’s right for you. It also includes a video and print library on topics related to getting and keeping the job, such as salary negotiations, attending job and career fairs, and more!
