AUGUST ADVISING: DROP-IN/CALL-IN ONLY

August is a very busy time for academic advisors as we work to ensure every student gets the guidance they need before classes start. To maximize our availability and minimize wait times, August advising will be drop-in and call-in only. We will resume scheduling appointments on Sept. 18. (While in-person advising is available, we strongly encourage you to call into the virtual queue to be assisted via phone call or Zoom.)

CSM COLLEGE SURVIVAL GUIDE

The College Survival Guide is a recurring feature that directs members of the CSM community to free resources and support for whatever challenges they may be facing. At CSM, no hawk has to fly alone.

FEELING OVERWHELMED? It’s okay if you’re not feeling okay. Whatever’s affecting you, CSM Counseling Services are available to accompany and support you in a wide range of emotional and mental health areas. If you’re not ready to talk about it yet, “R u ok, Hawks?” is an anonymous tool to connect you with resources to support your mental health.

Whether you’re looking for an on- or off-campus job, a paid internship, or a potential career path, College Central Network is the go-to career posting site for CSM students and alumni.

You can upload your current resume or use College Central Network’s template to create a resume and begin the search for the position that’s right for you. It also includes a video and print library on topics related to getting and keeping the job, such as salary negotiations, attending job and career fairs, and more!
