Flexible schedules, short sessions, and on-campus and online class options fit your summer plans and commitments. Register today, sessions begin May 14 and July 10.

CODE GREEN FRIDAYS

To shrink our carbon footprint and reduce energy use this summer, the college is continuing its' Code Code Green Fridays. From May 17 to July 27, most CSM buildings and services will close at 1:30 p.m. on Fridays and remain closed throughout the weekend except for special events or circumstances. Please note that Code Green does not affect Kids' & Teen College, the Velocity Center, the Center for Transportation Training, or the Center for Trades and Energy Training. FINANCIAL AID STARTS WITH FAFSA

Submissions are open for the 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), with a streamlined application process and expanded access to federal student aid. Remember that you need to submit a new FAFSA for each academic year. Maryland has extended its state deadline for FAFSA submissions to May 15 for state scholarships, including the Community College Promise Scholarship program. Submit your FAFSA as early as possible for the best opportunity for scholarships and other financial aid. Don’t forget to include CSM’s federal school code: 002064.

CSM’s Scholarship Finder is open for the 2024-25 academic year. Apply for more than 200 CSM scholarships with just one application. (Don’t forget to submit your 2024-25 FAFSA if you haven’t already!)

The College Survival Guide is a recurring feature that directs members of the CSM community to free resources and support for whatever challenges they may be facing. At CSM, no hawk has to fly alone. 

FEELING OVERWHELMED? It’s okay if you’re not feeling okay. Whatever’s affecting you, CSM Counseling Services are available to accompany and support you in a wide range of emotional and mental health areas. If you’re not ready to talk about it yet, “R u ok, Hawks?” is an anonymous tool to connect you with resources to support your mental health.
