On Friday, May 9 the college celebrated the achievements of 1,364 degree and certificate candidates, receiving 820 associate degrees and 1,118 certificates. We’re proud of everything you’ve accomplished, graduates, and we know that the best is yet to come for you all!

To shrink our carbon footprint and reduce energy use this summer, the college is bringing back Code Green Fridays. From May 16 to July 25, most CSM buildings and services will close at 1:30 p.m. on Fridays and remain closed throughout the weekend except for special events or circumstances. Please note that Code Green does not affect Kids' & Teen College, the Velocity Center, the Center for Transportation Training, or the Center for Trades and Energy Training.

CSM is proud to be the first stop in Maryland for the Smithsonian Institution’s Spark! Places of Innovation. On display from May 17 to June 29 at the Velocity Center at Indian Head, this traveling exhibit explores the unique combination of places, people, and circumstances that act as catalysts for innovation in rural regions across the country. Admission is free and open to the public.
