CSM Policy Updates

CSM Policy Updates

yellow line

We’d like to share a few policy updates with the college community. To ensure CSM stays in compliance with regulatory requirements, the following two policies have been updated or implemented:

  • Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect – All CSM faculty, administrative employees, and staff with job functions that may cause them to encounter minors are required to report suspicion of child abuse to local law enforcement or the department of social services.
  • Religious Accommodation – This policy has been amended to ensure that students receive the same religious accommodation considerations as employees. The policy outlines the steps employees and students should take if they need space on campus to engage in their religious practices or some other reasonable accommodation.

If you have any questions or concerns about either of these policies, please do not hesitate to reach out to generalcounsel@csmd.edu.
