Spring Semester Checklist
Classes start Tuesday, Jan. 20, for Spring 15-Week Term and 7-Week Term I! Here are some quick tips and reminders to help you start the semester feeling confident and prepared.
✅Rent or buy your textbooks and course materials online from the CSM College Store and pick up in store or have your books shipped to you. Books can also be bought in person at the La Plata location.
✅Get your CSM Student ID card made on campus or online.
✅Check your classes’ course shells in myLearning and peruse the syllabus so you know what to expect.
✅Download the CSM Mobile and CSM Safe apps and stay plugged in to what’s going on at campus and in the CSM community.
✅Fine-tune your schedule during the add/drop period. (Meet with an advisor first to make sure it won’t negatively impact your financial aid or veteran benefits!)
Gallery Exhibition: ‘Andrew Wodzianski is a Party Pooper’
CSM studio arts professor Andy Wodzianski explores the tropes surrounding domestic baking and the subversive celebration of events that are rarely—if ever—observed. The exhibition is on display until March 26, with a gallery talk and reception on Feb. 12.

Regular hours for the CSM Café are Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

CSM College Survival Guide
The College Survival Guide is a recurring feature that directs members of the CSM community to free resources and support for whatever challenges they may be facing. At CSM, no Hawk has to fly alone.
The best time to ask for help with your classes is before you get your grades back! CSM’s Learning Support Services can help you get the semester off to a strong start. Take advantage of free in-person and online tutoring and academic support for whatever you need help with. Avoid last-minute cramming and unpleasant surprises during exams by preparing and practicing now!
