CSM Theater Presents: ‘The Revolutionists’

yellow line

The curtain comes up this weekend on CSM’s spring theatrical production, with shows Feb. 27 – March 1 and March 6 – 8. A new play about four historical women who lived fearlessly during the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror, “The Revolutionists,” tells the story of the bond shared by an assassin, a playwright, a Haitian rebel, and a deposed queen. This grand, drama-tweaked comedy explores the interplay of art, activism, feminism, and chosen family, as a hopeful revolution for the people sinks into hyper-violent, misogynist rhetoric and extremist insanity.
