Enter the Cybersecurity Poster Contest by Oct. 18
Promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness throughout our college community! The theme for this year’s Cybersecurity Poster Contest is “Don’t Make It Easy For Them.” Design a poster around one of these four themes: multi-factor authentication (MFA); password security; protecting your devices, accounts, and personal information; or recognizing and reporting phishing. The three finalists will receive CSM scholarships, and the winning poster design will be displayed on all campuses and CSM social media. Submit your design by Oct. 18!

The CSM Café on the La Plata Campus offers a wide variety of delicious, freshly made morning and afternoon meals. Enjoy the rotating menus at the Yolk & Folk, Char House, Heritage Deli, Rustica, Salad Studio, Main Dish, and Soup Bowl stations, with something new to try every day!
Regular hours for the CSM Café are Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Connections Book Club Meeting 1: Kickoff Event
Inviting all in the CSM community! On Sept. 30, we’ll be reading the One Maryland, One Book selection, "No Sense in Wishing" by Lawrence Burney through a virtual campus-wide book club. Subtitled "Essays on Black Music, Belonging, and Baltimore," the first 20 registrants will receive a free copy of the book (priority will be given to CSM students)! CSM College Survival Guide
The College Survival Guide is a recurring feature that directs members of the CSM community to free resources and support for whatever challenges they may be facing. At CSM, no Hawk has to fly alone.
NEED A REFRESHER BEFORE YOUR EXAMS? The best time to ask for help with your classes is before you get your grades back! CSM offers free in-person and online tutoring and academic support for whatever you need help with through the Learning Support Services Center. Avoid last-minute cramming and those heart-stopping unexpected surprises during exams by preparing and practicing now!

If you’re looking to transfer your credits to a four-year institution to complete your bachelor’s degree, you won’t want to miss CSM’s Fall 2026 Transfer Fair.
