Golf Classic, National Voter Registration Day and Grants Seminar Mark a Busy September at CSM

CSM Closed for Labor Day. Sept 5 – 7. College of Southern Maryland, all campuses, will be closed Sept. 5-7 for the Labor Day holiday.

Transfer Thursdays. 11 a.m., Sept. 3 – 24. Zoom. CSM hosts transfer institutions virtually each Thursday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Representatives from two different institutions will be available to chat with students and help navigate their future transfer experience. RSVPs are required to access Zoom information. 

CSM Foundation’s 29th Golf Classic Tournament. Sept. 3 – Oct. 15. Swan Point Yacht & Country Club. CSM Foundation hosts annual golf classic at Swan Point Yacht & Country Club with virtual twist to ensure physical distancing guidelines. The tournament runs for six weeks, and golfers can play their round at any time within the tournament date range with their own scheduled tee time. Registrations are required for participation. 

National Voter Registration Day. 2:30 – 3:30 p.m, Sept. 22. Zoom. CSM Student Life and Equity and Inclusive Diversity Office are proud to partner with the League of Women Voters of Calvert County to host information sessions on voting. RSVPs are required to access Zoom information. 

15th Annual Grants Training Seminar. 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Sept. 25. Zoom. Nonprofit Institute at the College of Southern Maryland hosts informative seminar, learn how to organize your nonprofit business for funding readiness; establish an executable business development strategy; establish a framework for funding; and, understand grant prospecting, writing and funding. RSVPs are required to access Zoom information.
