Explore your Future in Higher Education at CSM Open House Events

The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) is holding open houses at each of the college’s four campuses, welcoming prospective students at all stages of their academic journey to explore opportunities to begin a college career or return to the classroom.

The open house events connect attendees with current students, faculty, and staff to get their questions answered as they begin their journey to CSM.

Latasha Baker, Director of Admissions, shared how the one-stop-shop for resources and information helps students feel empowered to take steps toward investing in their future.

“Providing students with guidance and resources can make higher education more approachable and help students feel confident to make informed decisions about investing in their future,” Baker said.

At each open house, attendees can:

• Learn about transfer opportunities after CSM
• Access CSM support services
• Discover scholarships and financial aid to ease the financial burden of education
• Explore 100+ credit and certificate programs

“CSM offers a wide range of pathways to provide opportunities for all students to find their place and begin building their future,” Baker said. “Our open house events are designed for students to navigate pathways and resources with ease and get excited to pursue higher education.”
