Emily Creswick Writer's Process Series: Andy Wodzianski (Art Creativity)

Andrew Wodzianski is a Washington, D.C.-based interdisciplinary artist and professor of studio arts at CSM. His works address adolescent nostalgia, and their appropriation reflects a fantastical youth with generous sprinkles of reverence and satire. A seven-time recipient of the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities Fellowship, Wodzianski’s work is included in the Wilson Building Art Collection, D.C. Art Bank, Chrysler Museum, and private collections.
He has exhibited nationwide and curated for the d’ ART Center, Anacostia Arts Center, and Pyramid Atlantic Art Center. Wodzianski has served as juror for the Bethesda Row Arts Festival, Annmarie Sculpture Garden’s Artsfest, Stockley Gardens Arts Festival, and Gosport Arts Festival. Curious about amateur (ham) radio? Join us for a presentation by the Charles County Amateur Radio Club (CCARC) and discover why this hobby has inspired generations of engineers, scientists, emergency responders, and lifelong learners.
Explore how amateur radio operators communicate across town, around the world, and even through satellites while developing skills in electronics, digital communications, antenna design, and emergency preparedness. Learn how local volunteers support public events, hospitals, emergency management, and disaster response throughout Southern Maryland. Whether you're interested in STEM, public service, or simply trying something new, amateur radio has something to offer.
No prior experience is necessary, just bring your curiosity! Register to attend.
Ward Virts Concert Series: Javier Arrey, Baritone

Chilean-born American baritone Javier Arrey is an internationally acclaimed artist who has performed with the Metropolitan Opera, Vienna State Opera, Washington National Opera, San Francisco Opera, Boston Lyric Opera, and many other leading companies. He has collaborated with renowned conductors including Lorin Maazel, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, and Plácido Domingo, and is widely recognized as one of today’s outstanding operatic baritones.

The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names "Audrey II" - after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it blood. Over time, though, Krelborn discovers Audrey II's out-of-this-world origins and intent towards global domination!
Little Shop of Horrors contains mature themes including domestic abuse, comedic violence, and substance abuse. Recommended for ages 12+.

Learn how to use Makerspace tools and advanced manufacturing equipment at no cost. Connect with Makerspace members, the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), and other community partners who can help you refine your product and grow your business.
