ASE
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Pathway
The Associate of Science in Engineering (ASE) in Electrical Engineering degree is designed to transfer as a block of courses rather than on a course-by-course basis into four-year engineering programs in Maryland.
Upon completion of the ASE in Electrical Engineering course of study, graduates will enter the four-year institution as a junior electrical engineering major.

Transfer Opportunities
CSM has the following transfer agreements specifically for the Electrical Engineering program:
View All Transfer Agreements
The Associate of Science in Engineering in Electrical Engineering is part of a state-wide transfer program until the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR). This allows graduates of the ASE Electrical Engineering degree to transfer the degree as a whole without further review and enter at the Junior year. Universities in Maryland that participate in this include:
Southern Maryland Electrical Engineering Partnership
CSM is proud to offer, in partnership with the University of Maryland (UMD), a seamless pathway to a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. CSM offers the Associate of Science Engineering Degree to its students. Upon completing the engineering curriculum at CSM, students may then transfer with junior status to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering at UMD. Students also have the opportunity to do an internship with the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), a division of NAVAIR, with a possible employment opportunity upon successful graduation and completion of all Pathway Program requirements.
