Maryland Public Information Act Requests
Maryland Public Information Act (MPIA) grants access to public records while protecting government interests and the privacy rights of individual citizens.
In accordance with the Maryland Public Information Act, Md. Code Ann., Gen. Prov. §§ 4-201 et seq., the College of Southern Maryland has designated certain types of public records to be made available to any applicant immediately upon request. These public records include:
- Policies and procedures, annual reports, Board of Trustees meeting agendas and minutes, and other related materials, which are also available on the College of Southern Maryland’s website.
