In 2018, the Center for Trades and Energy Training achieved a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold designation from the U.S. Green Building Council for the building's innovative design, including its stormwater management techiniques such as water-efficient landscaping and various water use reduction methods.
