Branding and Writing Guidelines

Welcome to Brand Management at the College of Southern Maryland.

CSM’s identity standards and guidelines were developed to ensure the creation of high-quality materials that consistently reflect the image and values of the college.

Through the creation of well-defined, integrated marketing materials, CSM is recognized throughout the Southern Maryland region and beyond. This recognition separates CSM from the competition and creates an awareness of the college's unique attributes. These guidelines are created in the spirit of CSM’s mission and its traditions of serving the diverse needs of students and the community.

All CSM faculty and staff should become familiar with these guidelines and adhere to the standards.
