About

I grew up 10 minutes from the La Plata Campus and attended Maurice J. McDonough High School. I began my career in defense contracting, where I worked as a pricing analyst on contractor proposals.

Outside of work, I have a beautiful wife, an energetic son, a curious daughter, and a crazy German Shepherd. They are my world. I have a soft spot for all animals, especially dogs. I love baseball and watching the Nats!

Educational Background

I have a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an economics concentration and a math minor from Salisbury University. I then earned my master’s degree in applied economics from Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs.

Q&A

I usually introduce topics with lectures, then incorporate discussions and classroom activities to keep students engaged.

Economics is the science of critical thinking. You won't just learn about topics like money or business. You'll learn how choice effects everything in our daily lives.
