Before retiring to St. Mary's County and joining the faculty at CSM, I was the Chief Economist for the CME Group in Chicago.

I hold a Ph.D. in economics from Tulane University.

Please describe your teaching style.

My style is relaxed and conversational. Classes typically involve both a discussion of key concepts, as well as an analysis of current, real world examples. Assignments often focus on a particular case study, with students examining and reporting on how a certain topic relates to that situation.

Do you have any passions or interests that you would like to share?

I enjoy sailing and tennis.
