About

I teach information technology courses with a focus on cloud computing and cybersecurity. In addition to supporting student success, I enjoy spending time rollerskating, watching movies, listening to music, and reading.

Educational Background

I hold a Master of Science in Information Assurance and bring a broad portfolio of industry credentials to the classroom. These include certifications from CompTIA (Security+, CySA+, IT Fundamentals and Cloud Essentials), EC-Council (Certified Ethical Hacker, Certified Security Analyst, and Associate CISO), and ISC2 (Certified Information Systems Security Professional and Certified in Cybersecurity), as well as the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner credential.

Q&A

I believe that effective learning happens at the intersection of theory, application, and conversation. Drawing on years of professional experience in the field, I bring a flexible approach to the classroom, weaving together direct instruction, hands-on activities, and open discussion, to meet students where they are. The goal is never simply to cover material, but to help students build the kind of thinking that translates to real careers in cybersecurity and technology. I am invested in student growth beyond the course itself and aim to create an environment where asking hard questions is encouraged and professional development is part of the conversation from day one.
