MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY MAY 28-30

In observance of Memorial Day, the college will be closed Saturday, May 28, through Monday, May 30, and will reopen Tuesday, May 31. There won’t be an edition of HawkTalk for the week of May 30; look for HawkTalk to return the following week, on June 6.

NEW AND UPDATED TRANSFER PATHWAYS FOR HEALTH AND STEM STUDENTS

CSM students interested in health and STEM fields can take advantage of new educational opportunities. Make a career of lending a helping, healing hand, with CSM’s new partnership with Anne Arundel Community College to offer an associate degree in massage therapy at AACC’s in-county tuition rate. The college recently updated its transfer agreements with Morgan State University for its computer science program and with Penn State University Harrisburg for civil engineering and mechanical engineering.

Join CSM on June 15 for our latest Live @ the Velocity Center event, “What Is a Makerspace?” Tour CSM’s new state-of-the-art, fully equipped makerspace at the Velocity Center at Indian Head and join a panel of experts as they discuss the role of makerspaces in supporting education, research, workforce development, and economic growth.
