SUMMER SESSION CHECKLIST

Classes start Wednesday, May 11, for Summer 15-Week Session and 7-Week Session I! Here are some quick tips and reminders to help you start the term feeling confident and prepared.

✅  Rent or buy your textbooks and course materials online from the CSM College Store and pick up in store or have your books shipped to you. (Please note that textbooks and course materials are only available to be ordered online.)

✅  Check your classes’ course shells in myLearning and peruse the syllabus. Course shells for your classes open seven days before the first day of class.

✅  Fine-tune your schedule during the add/drop period. You can add or drop a 15-week course in the first seven calendar days of the class, or the first three calendar days for 7-week courses. Meet with an advisor before adding or dropping a class to make sure it won’t negatively impact your eligibility for financial aid or veteran benefits!

Real Students. Real Stories.

Alicia WebbThis week, hear from current CSM student Alicia Webb:

"Fall 2021 was my first official semester as a full-time student—and a student who's actually studying something she wants to do!

It wasn't until I turned 22 that I started to really think about me and put myself first. That's exactly what I did, and I couldn't be more proud of myself or happier. I figured out more about myself, what I can do, what I'm passionate about, and how strong I am mentally and physically.

It doesn't matter how old you are or how “late” you think it is. College is always there for you when you're ready."
