AUGUST ADVISING: DROP-IN/ CALL-IN

August is a very busy time for academic advisors as we work to ensure every student gets the guidance they need before classes start. To maximize our availability and minimize wait times, August advising will be drop-In/ call-In only. Appointments will restart Sept. 12. (While in-person advising is available, we strongly encourage you to call into the virtual queue to be assisted via phone call or Zoom.)

Student Laptop Loaner Program

STUDENT LAPTOP LOANER PROGRAM

CSM is renewing our Student Laptop Loaner Program for the 2022-23 academic year! If you need to borrow a laptop to keep up with your classwork, send an email to the Help Desk with your request and include your CSM student ID number.

We can help! Check out CSM’s FinancialAidTV for short, easy to digest videos on a wide range of topics, including FAFSA, scholarships, 1098-Ts and much more.

Whether you’re looking for an on- or off-campus job, a paid internship, or a potential career path, College Central Network (formerly Job Connection) is the go-to career posting site for CSM students and alumni.

You can upload your current resume or use College Central Network’s template to create a resume and begin the search for the position that’s right for you. It also includes a video and print library on topics related to getting and keeping the job, such as salary negotiations, attending job and career fairs, and more!

NSF S-STEM SCHOLARSHIPS: GET UP TO $6,000 FOR YOUR STEM EDUCATION

Future STEM professionals, pay for your college education with CSM’s National Science Foundation (NSF) S-STEM Scholarships! Current and incoming CSM students in STEM programs may be eligible for up to $6,000 a year in scholarship funds.
