CSM COLLEGE SURVIVAL GUIDE

The College Survival Guide is a recurring feature that directs members of the CSM community to free resources and support for whatever challenges they may be facing. At CSM, no hawk has to fly alone.

NEED ASSISTANCE GETTING ADJUSTED? Whether you are entering CSM from high school, returning to school after several years, or taking classes to transfer, your first semesters are critical in laying a solid foundation for your student success at CSM and beyond. Hawk: Ready, Set, Go! is a three-part orientation for incoming students to familiarize yourself with the college and getting a strong start to your CSM experience.

Whether you’re looking for an on- or off-campus job, a paid internship, or a potential career path, College Central Network (formerly Job Connection) is the go-to career posting site for CSM students and alumni.

You can upload your current resume or use College Central Network’s template to create a resume and begin the search for the position that’s right for you. It also includes a video and print library on topics related to getting and keeping the job, such as salary negotiations, attending job and career fairs, and more!
