STUDENT RESOURCES

CSM COLLEGE SURVIVAL GUIDE

The College Survival Guide is a recurring feature that directs members of the CSM community to free resources and support for whatever challenges they may be facing. At CSM, no hawk has to fly alone.

NOT SURE YOU CAN AFFORD GROCERIES? It’s hard to focus on your studies and your goals when you’re not sure where your next meal is coming from. CSM’s Hawk Pantry and Hawk Feeder micro-pantries are available on the La Plata, Leonardtown, Regional Hughesville, and Prince Frederick Campuses for students experiencing food insecurity.

Hawk Feeders are drop-by micro-pantries that are always available while the college is open.

The Hawk Pantry is a weekly opportunity for current students to receive up to 30 pounds of food per week.

Whether you’re looking for an on- or off-campus job, a paid internship, or a potential career path, College Central Network (formerly Job Connection) is the go-to career posting site for CSM students and alumni.

You can upload your current resume or use College Central Network’s template to create a resume and begin the search for the position that’s right for you. It also includes a video and print library on topics related to getting and keeping the job, such as salary negotiations, attending job and career fairs, and more!
