CSM THEATER PREMIERE: ‘THE FANTASTIC MR. FOX (WOOD)’

The curtain comes up this week on CSM Theater’s spring production of “The Fantastic Mr. Fox (Wood)” with performances March 31 through April 2 and April 7-8. Roald Dahl’s much-loved story follows the vain attempts of three farmers to get rid of the fox who regularly steals food from their farms.

Join CSM on March 29 for the latest installment of the Connections Literary Series. Vietnamese author Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai will read from and discuss her second novel, “Dust Child,” a suspenseful and moving saga about family secrets, hidden trauma, and the overriding power of forgiveness, set during the war and in present-day Việt Nam.

On March 29, CSM’s Global Initiatives Committee presents an afternoon of music, conversation, and culture at the Latino Educational Panel and Festival. The event features a concert by CSM’s Ritmo Caché Latin Ensemble, a panel discussion, and complimentary Mexican food from Taquería Los Compadres!

The College Survival Guide is a recurring feature that directs members of the CSM community to free resources and support for whatever challenges they may be facing. At CSM, no hawk has to fly alone.

Whether you’re looking for an on- or off-campus job, a paid internship, or a potential career path, College Central Network (formerly Job Connection) is the go-to career posting site for CSM students and alumni.

You can upload your current resume or use College Central Network’s template to create a resume and begin the search for the position that’s right for you. It also includes a video and print library on topics related to getting and keeping the job, such as salary negotiations, attending job and career fairs, and more!

If you’ll complete your program of study this spring, don’t forget to apply to graduate!  To receive your diploma by mail, the deadline to apply for graduation is April 15.
