Student Satisfaction Survey

We are excited to report that almost 700 students participated in the recent Student Satisfaction Survey. Your invaluable input will help the college evaluate and improve our services. Congratulations to Elizabeth A. and Riley A., the winners of the Apple AirPods!

Current CSM students can use the Leonardtown Campus Building D Wellness and Aquatic Center for free under the agreement with St. Mary’s Recreation and Parks. Before using the facility, verify your CSM status, and an email notification will provide directions on how to pick up your pass. Please note that access is verified per semester; if you’ve previously held a pass, you will need to renew at this time.

STUDENT RESOURCES

CSM COLLEGE SURVIVAL GUIDE

The College Survival Guide is a recurring feature that directs members of the CSM community to free resources and support for whatever challenges they may be facing. At CSM, no hawk has to fly alone.

NOT SURE YOU CAN AFFORD GROCERIES? It’s hard to focus on your studies and your goals when you’re not sure where your next meal is coming from. CSM’s Hawk Pantry and Hawk Feeder micro-pantries are available on the La Plata, Leonardtown, and Prince Frederick Campuses for students experiencing food insecurity.

Hawk Feeders are drop-by micro-pantries that are always available while the college is open.

Any current CSM student or employee in need can come to any of our three Hawk Pantry locations and receive up to 30 pounds of food per week, at zero cost, and with complete confidentiality.

College Central Network

Whether you’re looking for an on- or off-campus job, a paid internship, or a potential career path, College Central Network (formerly Job Connection) is the go-to career posting site for CSM students and alumni.

You can upload your current resume or use College Central Network’s template to create a resume and begin the search for the position that’s right for you. It also includes a video and print library on topics related to getting and keeping the job, such as salary negotiations, attending job and career fairs, and more!

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

To shrink our carbon footprint and reduce energy use this summer, the college is bringing back Code Green Fridays. From May 19 to July 28, most CSM buildings and services will close at 1:30 p.m. on Fridays and remain closed throughout the weekend except for special events or circumstances. Please note that Code Green does not affect Kids' & Teen College, the Velocity Center at Indian Head, the Center for Transportation Training, or the Center for Trades and Energy Training. Learn more at www.csmd.edu/CodeGreen.
