Priority Registration Opens This Week for the Spring Semester!
Take advantage of Priority Registration and get the classes you want for spring! Priority Registration opens this week for the spring semester. Register for your spring classes based on the number of credits you’ve completed:
During Veterans Week, we honor the service, devotion, and sacrifice of the members of our armed forces. The Veterans Affairs team at the College of Southern Maryland cordially invites our veteran and military-connected students to join us for a week of camaraderie, commemoration, and celebration of those who’ve worn the uniform in service to our country.
Fall is the time for chills and thrills, and CSM Theater delivers with “Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express,” with showtimes Nov. 8-10 and 15–17. In this classic “locked room” murder mystery, passengers trapped aboard a snowbound luxury train must identify a killer—before they strike again.

On Nov. 9, the internationally acclaimed the Borisevich Duo graces the stage for the Ward Virts Concert Series with an incredible violin and piano performance. Admission is free and open to the public.

On Nov. 14, textile artist Miyuki Akai Cook discusses how she uses weaving, knitting, and crochet to explore themes of generational well-being and environmental awareness. Her new exhibition, “A Voice That We Have Ignored,” is on display until Dec. 13 in the Tony Hungerford Memorial Art Gallery on the La Plata Campus.
