STUDENT ART SHOW ON DISPLAY APRIL 1 TO MAY 6

The Annual Student Juried Art Exhibition returns, showcasing artwork by current CSM students in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, and graphic design. The exhibition is on display April 1 through May 6 at the Tony Hungerford Art Gallery on the La Plata Campus.

DON’T FORGET: APPLY TO GRADUATE!

If you’ll complete your program of study this spring, don’t forget to apply to graduate! Apply to graduate by April 1 if you would like to participate in the May commencement ceremony. If you would prefer to receive your diploma/certificate only and not participate in the ceremony, the deadline to apply for graduation is April 15.

The Student Government Association is seeking campus association student officers for the 2024-25 academic year. Officers earn scholarships while representing the interests of the student body on their campus, strengthening their resumes, developing interpersonal skills, meeting new people, and having fun! If you’d like to be on the ballot, submit your candidacy application by April 3. Contact the Student Life Coordinator at your campus location to learn more.

On April 4, CSM philosophy professor Dr. Richard Bilsker will discuss Carol Gilligan’s “In a Human Voice” for CSM’s Provocations Faculty Excellence Speaker Series. Bilsker’s talk will explore how Gilligan’s idea of a “human voice” can help us rethink how we communicate, evaluate popular culture, and do philosophy.
