Greetings CSM Community

We hope everyone had a great summer! As we roll back into the fall semester, we look forward to seeing everyone back on campus. Here are a few updates on what's happening with our campus dining services:

On Tuesday September 2nd the CSM Cafe on the LaPlata campus will begin its fall schedule: 

  • Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. -  6 p.m.
  • Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

We will be offering many great breakfast, lunch, and late afternoon options.

We are expanding our coffee selection by adding a self-service espresso/cappuccino machine. This should be installed by mid-September.

Be on the lookout for some special events at the CSM Cafe.  Some of our vendor partners, such as Celsius and Starbucks will be visiting campus with special promotions and giveaways.

On the Prince Frederick, Leonardtown campuses, and Hughesville Health Sciences Building, we have replaced the Smart Bistro hot vending machines with new 24-hour "grab and go" models. 

These will contain a variety of sandwiches and healthy options, such as salads and yogurt parfaits.  They are very easy to use; just tap your card, open the door, and grab your food!

Food Services

The CSM Café on the La Plata Campus offers a wide variety of delicious, freshly made morning and afternoon meals. Enjoy the rotating menus at the Yolk & Folk, Char House, Heritage Deli, Rustica, Salad Studio, Main Dish, and Soup Bowl stations, with something new to try every day!

CSM College Store

The CSM College Store on the La Plata Campus carries deli express fresh sandwiches and subs, microwaveable meals, soups and crackers, chips and sweet snacks, as well as a large selection of drinks. MAP

 

Catering

Event catering needs to be arranged via a licensed and insured caterer.

Pepsi is CSM’s Exclusive Beverage Provider

CSM has contracted with Pepsi Beverages Company to give PepsiCo beverage pouring rights and allow them the exclusive right to promote and distribute beverages throughout the campuses. As the college’s exclusive beverage provider, please remember that only Pepsi products can be served at college events and meetings.

As part of the agreement, a comprehensive lineup of beverages are available, including Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, Lipton Ice Tea, Gatorade, Propel, and Aquafina which can be conveniently purchased through the CSM College Stores at all campuses, the dining facilities on the La Plata Campus, college-wide vending machines, and concessions. Pepsi products can be ordered through CSM Catering on the La Plata Campus, other food service providers, or purchased directly from local grocery stores.
