The Student Affairs Department houses several services and functions that improve student health and well-being, campus safety, and student success at CSM. We proactively and collaboratively provide educational resources and manage situations that may impact the safety and well-being of the campus community.

Your time at college can be a positive and rewarding experience. However, it can also be a time of stress and challenge. To make the most of your college experience, CSM Counseling Services are available at all campuses to help you deal with your stresses and challenges. Counseling is confidential and free of charge to all currently enrolled CSM students.

Student Conduct
As members of the College of Southern Maryland’s campus community, each individual student bears certain responsibilities to themselves, their peers, and the institution in order to achieve success. Among those responsibilities are demonstrating respect for self and others and maintaining personal and academic integrity.
