Articulated Program Requirements:
- As of Spring 2020, George Washington University has renamed the Police and Security Studies degree. It is now called a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Homeland Security.
- Graduate with an associate degree.
- Complete the following courses:
- Written Communication or Composition (6 credits)
- Mathematics (3 credits)
- Natural or Physical Science with Lab (4 credits)
- Arts or Humanities (3 credits)
- Social or Behavioral Sciences (6 credits)
- 38 elective credits
Articulated Program Benefits:
- CSM graduates holding a qualifying associate degree who apply to the Homeland Security Program within one year of his or her graduation from CSM will receive an application fee waiver. It is the student's responsibility to obtain the fee waiver from CPS by contacting the Homeland Security Program Director.
- Students enrolled full-time may complete the Homeland Security Program in five semesters, assuming all other Homeland Security Program requirements have been met.
