CSM Announces Spring 2025 Dean's List
May 21, 2025The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) has released its dean’s list for the 2025 spring session. Students who have earned 12 or more credits at CSM are eligible to be considered for the dean’s list. At the end of the fall, spring, and summer sessions, full- and part-time time students who have completed at least six credits during the semester and have earned a term grade point average of 3.5 or better will be included in the dean’s list. Maryland Transfer Intensive Launches to Strengthen Community College Pathways and Boost Statewide Bachelor’s Degree Attainment
May 20, 2025In April, the Aspen Institute College Excellence Program (Aspen) and the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) announced the launch of the Maryland Transfer Intensive — a statewide collaboration designed to significantly improve community college transfer outcomes. Over the next seven years, 25 public and state-aided institutions, including College of Southern Maryland (CSM), will coordinate efforts to boost attainment for those seeking bachelor’s degrees, expand equitable opportunities for Marylanders, and build on Maryland’s ranking as the second most educated state in the country.
