The Box Office is open most weekdays from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. but the schedule does vary. Call ahead if you want to be sure someone is here. We are only accepting CASH payments at this time.

This exhibit encompasses landscapes by Gary Jameson in using a variety of processes, from traditional sculpture to digital media. The images cover five decades of the artist's travels across the United States, from Maine to Alaska.

'Moonshot' by Heather Monaghan

Gallery Talk: November 14 | 2:30 p.m.

Heather Monaghan is a senior graphic designer and illustrator at NASA creating artwork for some of humanity's most ambitious scientific endeavors including the International Space Station, the Artemis missions, and the James Webb Space Telescope. "MOONSHOT" is an exploration of Monaghan's artistic journey from her early student work to some of the professional work she produces today.

CSM Theater Production: 'The Addams Family - A New Musical'

'The Addams Family,' a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family– a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

Chorale and Chamber Choir Concert

December 7  |  7:30 p.m.

The CSM Chorale, conducted by Siobhan Maguire, is CSM’s men's chorus. Its repertoire includes traditional choir music, gospel and spirituals, popular music, musicals, and other styles. 

The CSM Chamber Choir, also conducted by Professor Maguire, is a select chorus of 12-16 singers open to more advanced students interested in performing choir literature of specific small ensembles, usually one voice per part. Its literature includes madrigals, gospel, popular songs, and contemporary vocal music. 

This concert will feature small and large ensemble vocal numbers as well as vocal chamber music and solos by members of the ensembles.

Jazz Concert

December 8  |  7:30 p.m.

Solid Brass Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Randy Runyon, is comprised of CSM students, local high school students, community members, and local professional musicians. The ensemble performs throughout the year at various venues in Southern Maryland and each semester at CSM. Solid Brass will perform a variety of styles, including Big Band, Modern Jass, and pop/rock jazz.

Latin Ensemble Concert

CSM's Latin ensemble, Ritmo Caché, directed by Dr. Stephen Johnson, will feature several old familiar “chestnuts” of Latin American music in styles such as salsa, bolero, cha-cha-chá, and modern renditions of Latin pop and jazz.

Music Students Honors Recital

The Student Honors Recital features solo and chamber performances by CSM music students. This recital will feature a variety of contemporary popular music and standard classical repertoire for specific instruments and voice. Student participants are recommended by their studio teachers.

The Southern Maryland Concert Band (SMCB), directed by David Monk, is a community-based concert band comprised of amateur and professional community musicians and CSM students. The SMCB is a popular fine arts fixture in the Southern Maryland music scene, performing concerts throughout the year in their community series and their two concerts on the La Plata Campus.
