The College of Southern Maryland provides a comprehensive system of student support services.  These services include peer and online tutoring, skills improvement software, and testing.

Learning Support Services Centers on all three campuses offer computers with internet capabilities, academic software access, textbook resources, and group study areas.  Academic tutoring and general student success resources are also located in these centers. Learn more.

FREE tutoring is offered to currently enrolled College of Southern Maryland students in a variety of subjects including English, math, and biology. In addition to face-to-face tutoring, online tutoring services in the areas of math, writing, ESL, accounting, economics, and chemistry are available in cooperation with Smarthinking. ThinkingStorm, an additional online tutoring service, offers tutoring in math and chemistry as well as an online writing center. The tutoring on campus is walk-in, no appointment necessary.
