Salisbury University is a premier comprehensive Maryland public university offering excellent, affordable education in undergraduate liberal arts, sciences, business, nursing, health sciences, social work, and education and applied master’s and doctoral programs.   • Students are eligible for the Conflict Analysis & Dispute Resolution Articulation Agreement if they meet the following requirements:
    • Graduate from CSM with an Associate of Arts in General Studies: Criminal Justice with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • Guaranteed admissions for CSM students who have
    • Earned any CSM Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Arts in Teaching, Associate of Science in Engineering, or Associate of Applied Science degree.
    • Submit the SU Application for Admission at least six months prior to the start of the semester they wish to transfer to Salisbury University.
    • Satisfy all other SU admissions requirements.
    • Graduate from CSM with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
    • Enroll in SU within one year of graduating from CSM without attending another institution of higher education.
    • Understand that some professional programs have a secondary admissions process, and that admission to SU does not guarantee admissions to a specific program. 
  • Students are eligible for Reverse Transfer if they meet the following requirements:
    • Transfer a minimum of 45 credits to SU. A minimum of 15 of those credits must be earned at CSM.
    • Express interest in the program when filling out their transcript request form at CSM with the intent to transfer to SU.
    • Accumulate a total of 60 credits. 
    • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 at both SU and CSM or the minimum GPA required for CSM's program of study.
  • Students are eligible for the Social Work Articulation Agreement if they meet the following requirements:
    • Graduate from CSM with an Associate of Arts in Arts and Sciences: Social Sciences or Associate of Applied Science in Human Services with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.

Please note: HST 1010 and HST 1013 transfer as the same course from CSM to Salisbury University. HST 1012 and HST 1015 transfer as the same course from CSM to Salisbury University.

  • Guaranteed Admission is available for part-time students as well. 
  • SU will waive the transcript fee when transcripts are sent in conjunction with the Reverse Transfer Agreement.
  • Students can earn the Bachelor of Arts in Social Work at the University System of Maryland in Southern Maryland in California, Maryland.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING GENERAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS AT SALISBURY UNIVERSITY

All students transferring to Salisbury University with an Associate of Arts (A.A.), Associate of Arts in Teaching (A.A.T.), or an Associate of Science (A.S.) from a Maryland community college will fully satisfy SU's General Education requirements.

  • Students must submit an official transcript showing a posted A.A., A.A.T., or A.S. from an accredited Maryland community college.
  • Students still must complete all requirements for their major and minor.
  • This policy does not apply to the Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.).
