Articulated Program Requirements:
- To qualify for the Associate Degree in Nursing (AS) to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, CSM students must:
- Meet application requirements for CSM as a degree seeking student during the time they are enrolled in the AS degree portion of the curriculum.
- Meet the application requirements of Towson University as a degree-seeking student during the entire time they are enrolled in the Associate to Bachelor's option.
- Dually enroll at CSM and Towson University for the time period during which they are earning their AS degree in Nursing.
- Pass the NCLEX-RN examination on the first attempt, at the completion of their AS degree, in order to continue in the ATB Program.
- To qualify for the Communication Studies Agreement, CSM students must:
- Graduate from CSM with the Associate of Arts in General Studies: Communication.
- Complete the necessary coursework outlined in the agreement.
- Possess a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA.
- To qualify for the Electronic Media and Film Agreement, CSM students must:
- Graduate from CSM with the Associate of Arts in Digital Media Production.
- Complete the necessary coursework outlined in the agreement.
- Possess a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA.
- To qualify for the Elementary Education Agreement, CSM students must:
- Graduate from CSM with the Associate of Arts in Teaching in the Elementary/Generic Special Education, Grades 1-6.
- Complete the necessary coursework outlined in the agreement.
- Possess a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Only courses in which a grade of C or better is earned will apply toward the major at Towson University.
- To qualify for the Reverse Transfer Agreement, CSM students must:
- Have junior or higher academic status (60 or more credits) at Towson University.
Articulated Program Benefits:
- For the Communication Studies Agreement,
- Transfer into Towson University's Communication Studies program with junior standing.
- For the Electronic Media and Film Agreement,
- Transfer into Towson University's Electronic Media and Film program with junior standing.
- Pursue one of the following concentrations:
- Film and Media Studies
- Film, Film/Video/Digital Media
- Radio/Audio
- For the Elementary Education Agreement,
- Transfer into Towson University's Elementary Education program with junior standing.
- Complete the Bachelor's degree within Southern Maryland.
- For the Reverse Transfer Agreement,
- CSM will not charge a degree application fee for students that receive their Associate Degree as a result of the Reverse Transfer agreement.
- TU will not change these CSM students participating in this program for sending their academic electronic transcript to CSM.
