School of Science and Health
The mission of the School of Science and Health is to empower students in their personal, academic, and professional lives by expanding their knowledge of life, physical, and health sciences and enhancing their skill in using scientific reasoning and critical thinking.
The School of Science and Health strives to:
- Educate future health and wellness professionals through exemplary academic programs and collaborative community partnerships
- Provide high quality content specialization to promote students’ foundational scientific knowledge and skills in preparation for transfer
- Foster lifelong learning, competence, and integrity in a diverse student population.

This college requirement is separate from any requirements that may be in place for students to attend clinicals, fieldwork, externships or internships in a health care or clinic setting (Clinical).
