Education and Public Service Pathway
Whether your interests lie in education or criminal justice, the Education and Public Service Pathway at CSM could be the right path to get you started on your career!
The Education and Public Service Pathway includes credit degrees and non-credit certifications in the areas of Teacher Education, Early Childhood Development, Childcare Professional, Human Services, Fire Science, and Criminal Justice. The pathway can lead either to a job upon completion, or to the next step at a four-year school, saving students thousands of dollars in education costs. This pathway is a start for anyone who wants to be a childcare provider, a Pre-K through 12th grade public school teacher, a substance abuse or mental health counselor, a corrections officer, a sheriff’s deputy, and even a private investigator or security professional. These public service careers are growing fast, and good people are in high demand.
