The College of Southern Maryland prohibits harassment of its employees, students, or visitors based on gender, sexual orientation, race, age, color, religion, disability, marital status, or national origin.
CSM also prohibits retaliation against those who allege such harassment. For more information on policies, visit the following link: Sexual Misconduct, Relationships Violence, Stalking, and Retaliation (Title IX).
This policy also applies to campus-based hate crimes.

Formal complaints of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation must be made in writing and directed to the Student Conduct Officer (to report acts committed by students) or to the Human Resources Department (to report acts committed by employees). To file a formal complaint, please complete the Harassment, Discrimination and Retaliation Complaint Form.
